INNER NATURE is a coming-of-age novel about Sophia, a mixed-race bisexual girl growing up in Tyson, Georgia.

Despite David urging me to finish community college and think of the future, he did very little in the way of his future. I mean, he was a thirty year old man that lived in a trailer behind his parent’s estate. He wasn’t exactly what I would call a self-starter. He was basically the poster child for small town nepo babies. But I preferred to view his lack of ambition as something positive. The less time he spent on his future, the more time he could spend with me. And if there was one thing I was addicted to, it was spending time with David doing absolutely nothing in his trailer.
